Lorraine D. Glover
Lorraine D. Glover is a New York City based visual artist, creative director, and interdisciplinary designer. Her work is diverse, ranging from architecture, visual art, experience design, scenic design, and interactive media. While her interests are broad, her work tends to hover over the intersection between architecture, brand, and theatre. With a background in architecture and interiors, she approaches her projects with an environmental sensibility, focusing on the user, guest, or audience experience, considering how one navigates the work and how one should feel throughout, letting the drama of the physical or digital space unfold. Her work is intentional. Her goal is always to hit that core emotional center that helps her clients and their audience feel fully seen, always striving to create work that is hyper-specific, unique, and at times a little weird.
Currently she is focusing on her career as a theatre artist, honing her craft in set design, working as a scenic associate to David Rockwell. In her spare time she enjoys traveling in and outside the US, seeing live music as much as possible, speaking really terrible Spanish, and working on experimental media and animation projects.
