A 3,375 sq. ft. townhouse renovation with an 825 sq. ft. penthouse addition in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. The design features a triple-height space and large skylight, bringing natural light to the home's core and connecting the ground-floor kitchen-living area with the second-floor children’s play space. The penthouse addition provided new bedrooms, compensating for space lost to the open central volume. The project included façade restoration and required approval from the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission (NYLPC), which mandated that the penthouse be set back to keep its added height hidden from street view.
