My name is Lorraine D. Glover, I’m a New York City based visual artist, creative director, and interdisciplinary designer. My work is diverse, ranging from architecture, visual art, experience design, scenic design, and interactive media. My interests are broad, however, my work tends to hover over the intersection between architecture, brand, and theatre (if such an intersection exists!). With my architecture and interiors background, I tend to approach all of my projects with an environmental sensibility, focusing on the user, guest, or audience experience, considering how one navigates the work and how one should feel throughout, letting the drama of the physical or digital space unfold. My work is intentional. My goal is always to hit that core emotional center that helps my clients and their audience feel fully seen, always striving to create work that is hyper-specific, unique, and at times a little weird (in a good way :).

My strengths are leading close-knit teams, mentoring designers and strategists as they navigate projects and client relationships. I’m oddly passionate about developing fluid design processes that yield efficient yet thoughtful work, extending that sense of guest experience and hospitality to my team’s work environment.

Currently I am focusing on my career in theatre, honing my craft in set design, working as an associate to David Rockwell. When I’m not doing all of that, I spends my spare time traveling in and outside the US, seeing live music as much as possible, speaking really terrible Spanish, and working on my experimental media and animation projects.
